This year we received essay submissions from dozens of young readers on topics ranging across political, social and economic conditions in China. After a careful selection process by our academic partners, we've selected Dennis Pan's "Comparison of the Progressive Era and the Chinese Economic Status" to be awarded this year's Young Scholar of the Year.
